Hydraulic oil FAQs

What is the difference between AW32, AW46 and AW68 hydraulic oil?
The numbers are the ISO viscosity grade — nominal viscosity in centistokes at 40 degrees C. AW32 (~32 cSt) suits cooler, indoor and machine-tool use; AW46 (~46 cSt) is the general-purpose industrial standard; AW68 (~68 cSt) suits high-pressure systems and hot or outdoor conditions. AW stands for anti-wear.
Which hydraulic oil grade is best for Indian industrial conditions?
For most indoor industrial machinery in India's ambient range of roughly 20 to 40 degrees C, AW46 is typically the correct grade. Use AW68 for outdoor mobile equipment and high-temperature systems, and AW32 for cold conditions or precision machine tools.
What standards do Haruto Nexa hydraulic oils meet?
Haruto Nexa hydraulic oils meet DIN 51524 Part 2 (HLP) and ISO 11158 HM, with anti-wear, oxidation and foam-resistance performance suitable for industrial and mobile hydraulic systems.
What pack sizes are available?
